  • Last week we had an interesting discussion about our favourite places to walk or wheel. There were lots of beautiful places around Surrey that we talked about as well as some places further afield. One common theme seemed to be being near water – either the sea or a river or lake.   • Did you enjoy the Y-Mania Halloween Spooktacular at YMCA Redhill? Y-Mania club night is back and getting in the Christmas Spirit with a Jingle Bell Ball on the 17th December. Details are on the attached flyer.
  • The team from Get Yourself Active at Disability Rights UK are looking for disabled people to share their stories of how they are getting active. They want to share the stories online to help raise awareness of the different ways of getting active and to help other disabled people feel confident and empowered to take the first steps to a more active life. You can take a video, send an audio file, or write it down – share your story in whatever way works for you. You can share your story and also look at some great resources for getting active at home here.”
