Find out more about our social activities

Virtual Café

Bring a cuppa and join our chat. The cafes are held on a Monday at 11am and on a Friday at 11.30am. There’s no agenda for the meeting, it’s just a catch up about anything and everything! Join the conversation!

Virtual trips

We have excellent reviews on our virtual trips. We have been to Monkey World in Dorset, Hever Castle in Kent, Brookland Museum in Surrey and lots more all without leaving the comfort of our homes.

Craft club

Whether you are a regular crafter or just fancy giving it a go, we’d love to see you. Our craft club takes place virtually on a Tuesday at 12pm. We exchange tips on paper crafting, crocheting, painting, sewing and knitting, through sharing the progress of our own creations! We also work on projects together such as cross stitching and reversable summer bucket hats.

Glee club

They say that music is good for the soul. Each week we have a theme to the session, whether that’s sharing your favourite song or finding a silly song. It’s a fun lively session that will make you a smile. Some choose to perform their songs, whilst others submit a Youtube link. Join us on Tuesdays at 4pm.

The Weekly Quiz

How’s your general knowledge? Each week we run a large quiz which people attend through video chat or calling in. Laughs are guaranteed and joke answers or extra fun facts can sometimes gain you extra points! The quiz takes place on Thursdays at 2.30pm

Book chat

Love reading….this is the club for you! We find downloadable books to read together and discuss, alongside sharing our other top reads and recommendation of the week! We also hold virtual special events, such as a murder mystery activity session, and a Jubilee cream tea. Join us, you might discover a favourite new author. Book chat takes place Wednesdays at 2.30pm

To book onto any of the above events, please email: involvement@surreycoalition.org.uk
