Sally’s flying high!

Sally in a chair zipwire flying through the trees!

Coalition member Sally sent us this fantastic photo of her flying through the trees on a chair zipwire. The photo was taken at Woodlarks Campsite, Lower Bourne, Farnham.

The campsite was set up in 1930 to provide affordable, accessible camping for people with a variety of disabilities. The campsite is set in 12 acres of fields and woodland with woodland trails, bird hides and barbecue areas.

As well as the chair zip wire, they have a wheelchair swing, a trampoline and an outdoor heated swimming pool with disabled-friendly changing rooms and hoist. There are accessible support buildings and state of the art accessible showers and toilets.

Each year from May to September they run week- long camps. Most people sleep in tents but for those unable to sleep under canvas there is indoor accommodation. Two large tents have a wooden floor so that a hoist may be used in it, and power points for breathing apparatus etc. You can find out more about the camps on their website
