Dan Hefferland

I wish to be a Director of Surrey Coalition of Disabled People to promote a love for younger disabled people and to try and improve issues for others by bringing my own experiences of attempting to change things for the better.

I have had specific issues with bad sexual health services, this is an area which is mostly unacknowledged as both a disabled and gay man.  I would like to work with the Coalition to try and break down some of these barriers.

I have also had personal negative experience with care and District Nurses etc.  I know that these issues are unfortunately all too common for disabled people of all ages.  I would really like to try to make an impact and help to change this for the wider disabled community.
