Access to Food

What is the Access to Food?

Access to Food provides funding to people struggling with the cost of living who may also have difficulty, due to disability or long-term health condition, getting to their local food bank. The scheme covers the cost of a taxi to a local food bank.

What funding is available?

One grant per household (not per person) every 3 months may be awarded a taxi ride. Please note grants will be awarded on a first come first served basis. Once we have allocated the full amount that we have been given, we’ll be unable to offer any further grants. So please make sure you apply as soon as possible.

Who can apply?

We welcome applications from Disabled adults or adults with a long-term health condition who:
· Are resident in Surrey.
· Have an immediate need for food support.
· Can not access – and afford to access – their local food bank due to a disability or long-term health condition

Please note: Any cases of fraudulent applications will be taken seriously within The Coalition and reported to the police.

To apply please fill out the form below.
