Dorking Walking Festival

On the 22nd September Coalition members took part in the 2nd Dorking Walking Festival! After a successful event last year, we were very pleased to return as walk hosts for a 2km accessible walk and wheel. The festival promotes walking/wheeling as a healthy and enjoyable activity as well as highlighting the town and local organisations.

We met at Café Connect then followed the stream through Meadowbank before walking up along the High Street and returning to the café through St Martin’s Walk. We stopped off to admire St Martin’s church and learn a little of its history. It was a beautiful sunny day, and we loved exploring the park and spending time with friends. Of course we finished off with a cuppa at the café in the sunshine!

I've not been out for ages; it was really lovely to get out.
