Get More Active Get Together Code of Conduct

We’re really pleased you’re joining us for a Get More Active Get Together. Our aim is for everyone to have a fun, relaxed and positive experience, where they feel safe, welcome and included. This Code of Conduct is here to help us all look after one another, understand what to expect and make sure members and supporters can enjoy the activity together.

• Please listen to the activity leaders, follow their guidance and stay with the group unless I am asked to do otherwise.
• If other members of the group need assistance please allow Coalition staff or their designated support worker to provide this unless asked to do otherwise.
• Please be kind and respectful to others, and avoid saying or doing anything that could upset, offend or make someone feel uncomfortable.
• Please only take or share photos or videos of other people if they are happy for you to do so. They can of course change their mind at any time.
• The Coalition may ask if photos or videos of me can be used. It is completely your choice, and you can change your mind at any time.
• Please help keep the activity safe and enjoyable by avoiding behaviour that could damage property or put you or others at risk. This includes not using alcohol or non-prescription drugs before or during the activity.
• If bringing drinks and snacks please avoid bringing nuts as there may be participants with allergies.
• Please speak to the lead Coalition staff member if you see or experience something that does not feel right or does not follow this Code of Conduct.
• If you do not follow this Code of Conduct, the group leaders may ask you to sit out for part or all of an activity, and this may affect whether you can attend future activities.
