Making Every Contact Count (MECC) training

Making Every Contact Count (MECC) is about using everyday conversations to help people make changes to improve their physical and mental wellbeing by signposting to local services. Rather than telling people what to do, Making Every Contact Count (MECC) is about recognising opportunities to talk to people about their wellbeing using the skills of asking and listening.

This free training lasts 3 hours (including a 15 minutes break), and will be delivered either online and in-person on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 5 September 2023, 13:00 – 16:00 (Online)
  • Tuesday 12 September 2023, 13:00 – 16:00 (Astolat, Guildford)
  • Thursday 5 October 2023, 9:30 – 12:30 (Online)
  • Thursday 9 November 2023 9:30- 12:30 (Astolat, Guildford)

On completion of the course and the short post-evaluation survey, a certificate will be sent to you by e-mail.
