Meet our walkers/runners/wheelers for the Superhero Tri!

Photo of Nikki on a run

Nikki – The Coalition’s very own CEO -Nikki believes nature is a super power! Using that superpower to get her out of bed in the morning for a run in the countryside. Fuelled by Weetabix (other brands are available!) this nature loving enthusiast takes a moment to enjoy the fresh air, listen to the birds tweeting in the sun/rain/wind – whichever is appropriate depending on the day! Nikki will be lacing up her trainers, whatever the weather, to join the walk, run and wheel team!

Superpower – My super power is kindness – Don’t underestimate the power of kindness, it can change lives!

Pam – administrator, campaigner and media star! Pam has been all over the airwaves recently campaigning against the closure of railway ticket offices. Now she’s flexing her superpower muscles to take on the 2.5-kilometre walk. Pam has completed triathlons before, but this will be her first since her accident and she is looking forward to striding out as part of the Coalition relay team!

Superpower – My superpower is organising things. Sometimes that power doesn’t work as well as I want it to!

Jean – Get More Active stalwart and enthusiast. Jean has done several activities with the Coalition and enjoyed them all. She is looking forward to the excitement of the Superhero Tri and is sure being part of Team Surrey Coalition will be another experience to enjoy! We’re thrilled Jean is going to put her best foot forward and join in the fun!

Superpower – Walking is my superpower – it keeps me motivated and fit. I really enjoy it and even better when I can do it for a great cause!

David – You might know David as the IMHN chair. When he’s not busy helping improve accessibility to NHS services in Surrey he can be found getting out and about in the Surrey countryside with his trusty sidekick and Active Buddy, who is also called David! The two David’s have already raised plenty of money for good causes this year and they’re revving up their engines to speed around Dorney Lake in aid of the Coalition.
