Caroline Butler -Volunteering Lead on Tech to Community Connect Project

I have recently joined Surrey Coalition as Volunteering Lead on the Tech to Community Connect project. I am very much looking forward to working on this exciting project.

I have worked for a number of years in adult learning providing training courses for community groups, encouraging disadvantaged people to develop new skills and in turn improve their self-esteem and confidence. I’m really looking forward to continuing this work promoting the Tech to Community Connect project, encouraging engagement in digital technology and helping to reduce digital exclusion and social isolation among our community.

In my spare time I love to play sport. In the winter months I play hockey for Cranleigh ladies and in the summer I enjoy stoolball on our local village green. I really enjoy meeting people when out and about with my dogs. My 11 month old Springerdor puppy Minnie certainly keeps me busy!

I've not been out for ages; it was really lovely to get out.
