Megan Siarey – Co-production and Community Engagement Officer | Surrey Adult Mental Health Alliance (Surrey AMHA) Advisory Forum Board Representative and Coordinator

Hello, my name is Megan and I wear a bunch of hats at The Coalition!

My main role is Co-production and Community Engagement Officer working on the Community Mental Health Transformation Project for Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

I sit on the Surrey Adult Mental Health Alliance Board as an Advisory Forum Representative alongside Collette. Additionally, I co-ordinate the Advisory Forum to make sure lived experience is at the heart of the Alliance.

Every other Monday, Charlotte and I co-facilitate the Young Adults Social Group together where we hold space for young adults to chat and discuss topics relevant to them.

I joined The Coalition in 2022 as Project Officer after getting involved as a volunteer IMHN rep in 2020. I’m currently the IMHN Chair for the 2022/23 term.

When I'm not working, you can usually find me with my nose in a book. I love getting outdoors when I can, and often visit National Trust locations for walks (and their iced coffees!).

I've not been out for ages; it was really lovely to get out.
