Aira Explorer App trial in Surrey to assist with bus travel 

The Aira Explorer App connects you to a Visual Interpreter to help blind and visually impaired people navigate their surroundings. 

The app is being trialled across Surrey for assisting with navigating bus travel. If you’d like to take part in the trial, you’ll need to download the Aira Explorer App on a smartphone and test it in one of the following locations: The Friary, Guildford, Redhill and Staines. Also, the Woking Town Centre covering The Broadway and High Street bus stops. The cost of the app use will be paid by Surrey County Council during the trial.
