Campaigns Committee

Who are we?

A friendly group that are passionate about creating change and making a difference for Disabled people and those living with long term health conditions.

We get involved with national campaigns such as access to train station ticket offices and providing input into the government consultation on Personal Independence Payments (PIP). We also work on local campaigns such as access to community transport.

Who can join?

The Campaigns Committee is made up of both disabled individuals with physical and sensory impairments, as well as carers. We believe that by working together, we can make a real difference.

What skills do I need to join?

An enthusiasm for making a difference!

Why join?

By participating in the Campaigns Committee, you have the chance to make a real difference. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with a wonderful group of like-minded individuals who share your passion.

How do I join?

The themes for the campaigns are decided by the committee. Everyone is welcome to join – if you are interested in getting involved, email involvement@surreycoalition.org.uk

I've not been out for ages; it was really lovely to get out.
