Disability Awareness Training at Royal Surrey

We were delighted to be invited back to the Royal Surrey to deliver some disability awareness training to their next intake of trainee GPs!

Megan, Nikki and Rowley spent the morning talking about the importance of accessible communications, accessible buildings and how GPs can think differently to ensure inclusion for all.

Some of our wonderful members were filmed talking about how they find accessing their GPs – we’re so grateful to our members for doing this as it really helps the trainee GPs to hear people’s lived experience.

If you know of a company or a service that would be interested in some disability awareness training, please do get in touch with the involvement team: Involvement@surreycoalition.org.uk

I've not been out for ages; it was really lovely to get out.
