Have you been advised to attend a Safe Haven when struggling with your mental health?
We want to understand what barriers might prevent people from attending a Safe Haven in person, and what makes it easier for someone to attend.
A safe haven is a supportive, non-clinical space where trained staff are available to help anyone aged 18 or over if they’re struggling with their mental health. Safe Havens are open everyday from 6pm to 11pm. They offer free and confidential support, including peer support from people who have experienced mental health issues, and no referral or appointment is needed. They are located in Aldershot, Epsom, Guildford, Redhill and Woking.
We want to hear from anyone who has been advised to attend a Safe Haven, or wanted to attend one without being advised, whether you managed to attend in person or not.
