Our final National Lottery Wellbeing Get Together was a morning of Christmas Crafts, Coffee and Chat at our head office in Burpham. It was a great way to finish of the year, and our members were showing lots of festive cheer with plenty of Christmas jumpers to be seen.
We started the morning with a feedback session led by Alex. This was an opportunity to gain valuable information about members experiences from the year long project. Not only does this let us know what went well and what we can improve on, it also gives us evidence for the project funders and helps with future bids too – a big thank you to all who took part! Then it was time for some crafting and, of course, some cake and a cuppa! We were lucky enough to enjoy some delicious home-made fruit cake and lemon drizzle cake as well as mince pies and biscuits as we listened to carols and Christmas tunes.

Our crafts were making a decorative candle wreath or decorating wooden tree decorations. Those that wanted to craft were soon showing their creative sides and making some lovely decorations. There was lots of concentration required but that didn’t stop us having a good chat and laugh as we worked. It’s been a fantastic year of events – we’re looking forward to 2026!
