Work for us! Image

Work for us!

We’re a friendly, supportive and dedicated team at Surrey Coalition of Disabled People, putting Disabled People and people with mental ill health at the centre of everything we do.

Our main office is based in Guildford, however many of our team work remotely out in the community or at home.

We have a virtual monthly all staff meeting to catch up. We also have quarterly in person team together days to celebrate successes, share updates and build relationships. (Oh and build structures from sticks, paint etc – see photos!)

We are also very lucky to have a team of wonderful volunteers that work with us on many of our projects.

Why work for us?

Working with us will be fun, it’ll provide you with opportunities to try new things and learn new skills in a supportive environment.

Striking a good work life balance is important to us too. To help with achieving a good work life balance, we offer flexible working and many of our team work part time.

In addition, we offer:

  • 27 days holiday (rising to 28 days after 2 years)
  • Paid Public Holidays
  • Pension
  • Training
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

Chief Executive Officer – Surrey Coalition of Disabled People

Closing Date: 04/07/2025
The CEO will set a new five-year strategy for the organisation by building on the solid foundations of the 2 year strategic plan and maximising the opportunities that charity status provides. They will have oversight across the whole organisation, often acting as the external ‘face’ of The Coalition with our stakeholders and partners. As such, they will represent us, and enable the Disabled community to have their voices heard to achieve equality and independence for Disabled people and those with long-term health conditions.
I've not been out for ages; it was really lovely to get out.
